Matteo is 45 years old. He is a lost man, defeated by life and by a country that killed his generation by denying it the conditions, the opportunities, the dreams that men and women of a civil society are entitled to at the moment of their choices, of their fulfillment. Together with many others like him, Matteo finds himself without ideals, without ideologies, without the possibility of seeing his abilities realized, concretizing that form of life that he would have wanted to build. And with no more hope. So he decides to leave. But not away from his country. No. Get out of life. He no longer has a reason to stay, there is no reason to continue. He doesn’t see it. When he tries to implement his purpose, however, a doubt arises: What if there was a reason to stay, if it were me who can’t see him?
